What does Romans 16:14 mean?
Paul is wrapping up his list of people whom he wishes for his readers in Rome to greet. He begins now simply listing names instead of offering quick commendations or descriptions of each one. Though he has never been to Rome, he knows personally or by reputation quite a few believers in the large city.It is possible that Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers with them all met in the same house church in Rome. Nothing else is known about them.
