Mark 14:61-66
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 14
61
But He kept silent and did not offer any answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and *said to Him, 'Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed
One?
'
62
And Jesus said, 'I am; and you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.'
63
Tearing his clothes, the high priest *said, 'What further need do we have of witnesses?
64
You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?' And they all condemned Him as deserving of death.
65
And some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists and say to Him, 'Prophesy!' Then the officers took custody of Him and slapped Him
in the face.
66
And while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the slave women of the high priest *came,

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
63
Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
64
Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
65
And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

Then some began to spit on him, to blindfold him, and to beat him, saying, "Prophesy!" The temple servants also took him and slapped him.

64
You have all heard his blasphemy. What is your verdict?' 'Guilty!' they all cried. 'He deserves to die!'

Then some of them began to spit at him, and they blindfolded him and beat him with their fists. 'Prophesy to us,' they jeered. And the guards slapped him as they took him away.
