Chapter 24
24And so some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.' 25And then He said to them, 'You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to come into His glory?' 27Then beginning with Moses and with all the Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.King James Version

24And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.Christian Standard Bible
25He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
26Wasn't it necessary for the Messiah to suffer these things and enter into his glory? "
27Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them the things concerning himself in all the Scriptures.

Chapter 24
24Some of our men ran out to see, and sure enough, his body was gone, just as the women had said.'
25Then Jesus said to them, 'You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures.
26Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?'
27Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
