Luke 17:11-23
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 17
11
While He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12
And as He entered a village, ten men with leprosy who stood at a distance met Him;
13
and they raised their voices, saying, 'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!'
14
When He saw
them,
He said to them, 'Go and show yourselves to the priests.' And as they were going, they were cleansed.
15
Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16
and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.
17
But Jesus responded and said, 'Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where
are they?
18
Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?'
19
And He said to him, 'Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.'
20
Now He was questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, and He answered them and said, 'The kingdom of God is not coming with signs that can be observed;
21
nor will they say, ‘Look, here
it is!
’ or, ‘There
it is!
’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.'
22
And He said to the disciples, 'The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see
it.
23
And they will say to you, ‘Look there,’ or, ‘Look here!’ Do not leave, and do not run after
them.
King James Version
Chapter 17
11
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed but where are the nine
18
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23
And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

Chapter 17
11
While traveling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.
12
As he entered a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
13
and raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
14
When he saw them, he told them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And while they were going, they were cleansed.
15
But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.
16
He fell facedown at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.
17
Then Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
18
Didn’t any return to give glory to God except this foreigner?"
19
And he told him, "Get up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you."
20
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming with something observable;
21
no one will say, ‘See here!’ or ‘There!’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst."
22
Then he told the disciples: "The days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you won’t see it.
23
They will say to you, ‘See there!’ or ‘See here!’ Don’t follow or run after them.
New Living Translation
Chapter 17
11
As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria.
12
As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance,
13
crying out, 'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!'
14
He looked at them and said, 'Go show yourselves to the priests.' And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.
15
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, 'Praise God!'
16
He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.
17
Jesus asked, 'Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?
18
Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?'
19
And Jesus said to the man, 'Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you. '
20
One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, 'When will the Kingdom of God come?' Jesus replied, 'The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs.
21
You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you. '
22
Then he said to his disciples, 'The time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you won’t see it.
23
People will tell you, ‘Look, there is the Son of Man,’ or ‘Here he is,’ but don’t go out and follow them.

Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.

And they lifted up

So when He saw

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,

and fell down on
his

17
So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where

Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”
19
And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
22
Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see

And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after
