But God said to him, ‘You fool! This
very
night your soul is demanded of you; and
as for all
that you have prepared, who will own
it now?
’

Such is the one who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich in relation to God.'

But God said unto him,
Thou
fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

So
is
he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared--whose will they be? '

"That's how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God."
New Living Translation
Chapter 12
20
But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’
21
Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.'

But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’

So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
