Luke 12:18-22
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 12
18And he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and I will store all my grain and my goods there. 19And I will say to myself, 'You have many goods stored up for many years to come; relax, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself!'?’ 20But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is demanded of you; and as for all that you have prepared, who will own it now?’ 21Such is the one who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich in relation to God.'King James Version
Chapter 12
18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.Christian Standard Bible
