John 9:11-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 9
11
He answered, 'The man who is called Jesus made mud, and spread
it
on my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash’; so I went away and washed, and I received sight.'
12
And they said to him, 'Where is He?' He *said, 'I do not know.'
13
They *brought the man who was previously blind to the Pharisees.
14
Now it was a Sabbath on the day that Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
15
Then the Pharisees also were asking him again how he received his sight. And he said to them, 'He applied mud to my eyes, and I washed, and I see.'
King James Version
Chapter 9
11
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
12
Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
13
They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
14
And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 9
11
He answered, "The man called Jesus made mud, spread it on my eyes, and told me, 'Go to Siloam and wash.' So when I went and washed I received my sight."
12
"Where is he? " they asked."I don't know," he said.
13
They brought the man who used to be blind to the Pharisees.
14
The day that Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes was a Sabbath.
15
Then the Pharisees asked him again how he received his sight."He put mud on my eyes," he told them. "I washed and I can see."
New Living Translation
Chapter 9
11
He told them, 'The man they call Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash yourself.’ So I went and washed, and now I can see!'
12
Where is he now?' they asked. 'I don’t know,' he replied.
13
Then they took the man who had been blind to the Pharisees,
14
because it was on the Sabbath that Jesus had made the mud and healed him.
15
The Pharisees asked the man all about it. So he told them, 'He put the mud over my eyes, and when I washed it away, I could see!'
