New American Standard Bible
Chapter 9
27He answered them, 'I told you already and you did not listen; why do you want to hear it again? You do not want to become His disciples too, do you?' 28They spoke abusively to him and said, 'You are His disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. 29We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where He is from.' 30The man answered and said to them, 'Well, here is the amazing thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He opened my eyes! 31We know that God does not listen to sinners; but if someone is God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him.King James Version
Chapter 9
27He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? 28Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. 29We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. 30The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. 31Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.Christian Standard Bible
