So they *said again to the man who was blind, 'What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?' And he said, 'He is a prophet.'

The Jews then did not believe

about him, that he had been blind and had received sight, until they called the parents of the very one who had received his sight,

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

Again they asked the blind man, "What do you say about him, since he opened your eyes?" "He’s a prophet," he said.

The Jews did not believe this about him—that he was blind and received sight—until they summoned the parents of the one who had received his sight.

Then the Pharisees again questioned the man who had been blind and demanded, 'What’s your opinion about this man who healed you?' The man replied, 'I think he must be a prophet.'

The Jewish leaders still refused to believe the man had been blind and could now see, so they called in his parents.
