John 5:7-12
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 5
7The sick man answered Him, 'Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.' 8Jesus *said to him, 'Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.'
9Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk. Now it was a Sabbath on that day.
10So the Jews were saying to the man who was cured, 'It is a Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.'
11But he answered them, 'He who made me well was the one who said to me, ‘Pick up your pallet and walk.’'
12They asked him, 'Who is the man who said to you, ‘Pick it up and walk’?'

Chapter 5
7The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. 10The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. 11He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. 12Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walkChristian Standard Bible

Chapter 5
7The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me." 8Jesus said to him, "Get up, take up your bed, and walk." 9And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath.
10So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed."
11But he answered them, "The man who healed me, that man said to me, ‘Take up your bed, and walk.’"
12They asked him, "Who is the man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?"
