Chapter 12
17So the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify about Him. 18For this reason also the people went to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign. 19So the Pharisees said to one another, 'You see that you are not accomplishing anything; look, the world has gone after Him!'
20Now there were some Greeks among those who were going up to worship at the feast;
21these people then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and were making a request of him, saying, 'Sir, we wish to see Jesus.'
22Philip *came and *told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip *came and *told Jesus.
23But Jesus *answered them by saying, 'The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.
26If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

17The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. 18For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. 19The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
20And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
21The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
22Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

You’ve accomplished nothing. Look, the world has gone after him!"
20Now some Greeks were among those who went up to worship at the festival.
21So they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, "Sir, we want to see Jesus."
22Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
23Jesus replied to them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.
25The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Chapter 12
17Many in the crowd had seen Jesus call Lazarus from the tomb, raising him from the dead, and they were telling others about it. 18That was the reason so many went out to meet him — because they had heard about this miraculous sign. 19Then the Pharisees said to each other, 'There’s nothing we can do. Look, everyone has gone after him!'
20Some Greeks who had come to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration
21paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said, 'Sir, we want to meet Jesus.'
22Philip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus.
23Jesus replied, 'Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.
24I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels — a plentiful harvest of new lives.
25Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity.
26Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

Look, the world has gone after him."
20Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks.
21So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."
22Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
23And Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

21They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. "Sir," they said, "we would like to see Jesus."
