10
But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also,
11
because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.
12
On the next day, when the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13
they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and
began
shouting, 'Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE
Lord
, indeed, the King of Israel!'

But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11
Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

because he was the reason many of the Jews were deserting them and believing in Jesus.

The next day, when the large crowd that had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

they took palm branches and went out to meet him. They kept shouting:
"Hosanna!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord
—the King of Israel!"

Then the leading priests decided to kill Lazarus, too,

for it was because of him that many of the people had deserted them and believed in Jesus.

The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors

took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted,
'Praise God!
Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the
Lord
