and He said, 'Where have you laid him?' They *said to Him, 'Lord, come and see.'

Jesus wept.

So the Jews were saying, 'See how He loved him!'

But some of them said, 'Could this man, who opened the eyes of the man who was blind, not have also kept this man from dying?'
38
So Jesus, again being deeply moved within, *came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

And said, Where have ye laid him They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

Jesus wept.

Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

"Where have you put him?" he asked. "Lord," they told him, "come and see."

Jesus wept.

So the Jews said, "See how he loved him!"

But some of them said, "Couldn’t he who opened the blind man’s eyes also have kept this man from dying?"

Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

Where have you put him?' he asked them. They told him, 'Lord, come and see.'

The people who were standing nearby said, 'See how much he loved him!'

But some said, 'This man healed a blind man. Couldn’t he have kept Lazarus from dying?'

Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across its entrance.
