Chapter 62

1For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning. 2The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the Lord will designate. 3You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, And a royal headband in the hand of your God.

Chapter 62

1For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Chapter 62

1I will not keep silent because of Zion, and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem, until her righteousness shines like a bright light and her salvation, like a flaming torch.
2Nations will see your righteousness and all kings, your glory. You will be given a new name that the Lord’s mouth will announce. 3You will be a glorious crown in the Lord’s hand, and a royal diadem in the palm of your God’s hand.

Chapter 62

1Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch. 2The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth. 3The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see — a splendid crown in the hand of God.
