Isaiah 52:13-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 52
13Behold, My Servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted. 14Just as many were appalled at you, My people, So His appearance was marred beyond that of a man, And His form beyond the sons of mankind. 15So He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what they had not been told, they will see, And what they had not heard, they will understand.King James Version
Chapter 52
13Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. 14As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: 15So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 52
13See, my servant will be successful; he will be raised and lifted up and greatly exalted. 14Just as many were appalled at you -- his appearance was so disfigured that he did not look like a man, and his form did not resemble a human being -- 15so he will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of him, for they will see what had not been told them, and they will understand what they had not heard.New Living Translation
Chapter 52
13See, my servant will prosper; he will be highly exalted. 14But many were amazed when they saw him. His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man. 15And he will startle many nations. Kings will stand speechless in his presence. For they will see what they had not been told; they will understand what they had not heard about.English Standard Version
Chapter 52
13Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. 14As many were astonished at you— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind— 15so shall he sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths because of him, for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.New International Version
Chapter 52
13See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. 14Just as there were many who were appalled at him -- his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness-- 15so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.New King James Version
