Isaiah 43:13-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 43
13
Even from eternity I am He,
And there is no one who can rescue from My hand;
I act, and who can reverse it?'
14
This is what the
Lord
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
'For your sake I have sent to Babylon,
And will bring them all down as fugitives,
Even the Chaldeans, into the ships over which they rejoice.
King James Version
Chapter 43
13
Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14
Thus saith the
Lord
, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 43
13
Also, from today on I am he alone,
and none can rescue from my power.
I act, and who can reverse it?"
14
This is what the
Lord
, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
Because of you, I will send an army to Babylon
and bring all of them as fugitives,
even the Chaldeans in the ships in which they rejoice.
New Living Translation
Chapter 43
13
'From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
No one can undo what I have done.'
14
This is what the
Lord
says — your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
'For your sakes I will send an army against Babylon,
forcing the Babylonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of.
English Standard Version
Chapter 43
13
Also henceforth I am he;
there is none who can deliver from my hand;
I work, and who can turn it back?"
14
Thus says the
Lord
,
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
"For your sake I send to Babylon
and bring them all down as fugitives,
even the Chaldeans, in the ships in which they rejoice.
New International Version
Chapter 43
13
Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?"
14
This is what the
Lord
says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
"For your sake I will send to Babylon
and bring down as fugitives all the Babylonians,
in the ships in which they took pride.
New King James Version
Chapter 43
13
Indeed before the day
was,
I
am
He;
And
there is
no one who can deliver out of My hand;
I work, and who will reverse it?”
14
Thus says the
Lord
, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“For your sake I will send to Babylon,
And bring them all down as fugitives—
The Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships.
