Isaiah 30:22-23
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 30
22
And you will desecrate your carved images plated with silver, and your cast metal images plated with gold. You will scatter them as a filthy thing,
and
say to them, 'Be gone!'
23
Then He will give
you
rain for your seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread
from
the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plentiful; on that day your livestock will graze in a wide pasture.
King James Version
Chapter 30
22
Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
23
Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 30
22
Then you will defile your silver-plated idols and your gold-plated images. You will throw them away like menstrual cloths, and call them filth.
23
Then he will send rain for your seed that you have sown in the ground, and the food, the produce of the ground, will be rich and plentiful. On that day your cattle will graze in open pastures.
New Living Translation
Chapter 30
22
Then you will destroy all your silver idols
and your precious gold images.
You will throw them out like filthy rags,
saying to them, 'Good riddance!'
23
Then the
Lord
will bless you with rain at planting time. There will be wonderful harvests and plenty of pastureland for your livestock.
English Standard Version
Chapter 30
22
Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. You will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, "Be gone!"
23
And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures,
New International Version
Chapter 30
22
Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, "Away with you!"
23
He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.
New King James Version
Chapter 30
22
You will also defile the covering of your images of silver,
And the ornament of your molded images of gold.
You will throw them away as an unclean thing;
You will say to them, “Get away!”
23
Then He will give the rain for your seed
With which you sow the ground,
And bread of the increase of the earth;
It will be fat and plentiful.
In that day your cattle will feed
In large pastures.
