Genesis 41:32-33
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 41
32
Now as for the repeating of the dream to Pharaoh twice,
it means
that the matter is confirmed by God, and God will quickly bring it about.
33
So now let Pharaoh look for a man discerning and wise, and appoint him over the land of Egypt.
King James Version
Chapter 41
32
And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
33
Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 41
32
Since the dream was given twice to Pharaoh, it means that the matter has been determined by God, and he will carry it out soon.
33
"So now, let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and set him over the land of Egypt.
New Living Translation
Chapter 41
32
As for having two similar dreams, it means that these events have been decreed by God, and he will soon make them happen.
33
Therefore, Pharaoh should find an intelligent and wise man and put him in charge of the entire land of Egypt.
English Standard Version
Chapter 41
32
And the doubling of Pharaoh 's dream means that the thing is fixed by God, and God will shortly bring it about.
33
Now therefore let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.
New International Version
Chapter 41
32
The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon.
33
"And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt.
New King James Version
Chapter 41
32
And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing
is
established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
33
“Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.
