Chapter 9
32Now Peter and his companions had been overcome with sleep; but when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who were standing with Him. 33And as these two men were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, 'Master, it is good that we are here; and let’s make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah'—not realizing what he was saying. 34But while he was saying this, a cloud formed and began to overshadow them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35And then a voice came from the cloud, saying, 'This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!' 36And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.King James Version

32But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. 33And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. 34While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. 35And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. 36And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. 32Peter and the others had fallen asleep. When they woke up, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with him. 33As Moses and Elijah were starting to leave, Peter, not even knowing what he was saying, blurted out, 'Master, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials — one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.' 34But even as he was saying this, a cloud overshadowed them, and terror gripped them as the cloud covered them.English Standard Version

32Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. 33As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, 'Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.' (He did not know what he was saying.)
34While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
35A voice came from the cloud, saying, 'This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.'
36When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen.

35And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”
36When the voice had ceased, Jesus was found alone. But they kept quiet, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.
