Luke 8:17-21
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
17For nothing is concealed that will not become evident, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.'
19Now His mother and brothers came to Him, and they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd.
20And it was reported to Him, 'Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You.'
21But He answered and said to them, 'My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.'
King James Version
Chapter 8
17For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. 18Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. 19Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. 20And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.Christian Standard Bible
