And all the people of the territory of the Gerasenes and the surrounding region asked Him to leave them, because they were overwhelmed by great fear; and He got into a boat and returned.
38
But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but
Jesus
sent him away, saying,
39
Return to your home and describe what great things God has done for you.' So he went away, proclaiming throughout the city what great things Jesus had done for him.
40
And as Jesus was returning, the people welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.
41
And a man named Jairus came, and he was an official of the synagogue; and he fell at Jesus’ feet, and
began
urging Him to come to his house;

Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.
38
Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
39
Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
40
And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
41
And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

The man from whom the demons had departed begged him earnestly to be with him. But he sent him away and said,

"Go back to your home, and tell all that God has done for you." And off he went, proclaiming throughout the town how much Jesus had done for him.
40
When Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him.
41
Just then, a man named Jairus came. He was a leader of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus’s feet and pleaded with him to come to his house,

And all the people in the region of the Gerasenes begged Jesus to go away and leave them alone, for a great wave of fear swept over them. So Jesus returned to the boat and left, crossing back to the other side of the lake.
38
The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying,
39
No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.' So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
40
On the other side of the lake the crowds welcomed Jesus, because they had been waiting for him.
41
Then a man named Jairus, a leader of the local synagogue, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come home with him.
