Luke 8:22-27
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
22Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, 'Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.' So they launched out. 23But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger. 24They came up to Jesus and woke Him, saying, 'Master, Master, we are perishing!' And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm. 25And He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' But they were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, 'Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?'King James Version
Chapter 8
22Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25And he said unto them, Where is your faith And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.Christian Standard Bible
