But the other responded, and rebuking him, said, 'Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?
41
And we indeed
are suffering
justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our crimes; but this man has done nothing wrong.'

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

But the other answered, rebuking him: "Don't you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment?
41
We are punished justly, because we're getting back what we deserve for the things we did, but this man has done nothing wrong."
New Living Translation

But the other criminal protested, 'Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die?
41
We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.'
