Then the entire assembly of them set out and brought Him before Pilate.

And they began to bring charges against Him, saying, 'We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding
us
to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.'

And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this
fellow
perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

Then their whole assembly rose up and brought him before Pilate.

They began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man misleading our nation, opposing payment of taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is the Messiah, a king."
New Living Translation

Then the entire council took Jesus to Pilate, the Roman governor.
2
They began to state their case: 'This man has been leading our people astray by telling them not to pay their taxes to the Roman government and by claiming he is the Messiah, a king.'

And they began to accuse him, saying, 'We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Messiah, a king.'
