Chapter 21
26people fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.'
29And He told them a parable: 'Look at the fig tree and all the trees:
30as soon as they put forth leaves, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near.
31So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
32Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.

26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

29Then he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
30As soon as they put out leaves you can see for yourselves and recognize that summer is already near.
31In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
32Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all things take place.

26People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 27Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. 28So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!'
29Then he gave them this illustration: 'Notice the fig tree, or any other tree.
30When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near.
31In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.
32I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place.
