for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth.
36
But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.'
37
Now during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.'

Every day Jesus went to the Temple to teach, and each evening he returned to spend the night on the Mount of Olives.
