Luke 18:14-16
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 18
14
I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other one; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.'
15
Now they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them; but when the disciples saw
it,
they
began
rebuking them.
16
But Jesus called for the little ones, saying, 'Allow the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
King James Version
Chapter 18
14
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified
rather
than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
15
And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when
his
disciples saw
it
, they rebuked them.
16
But Jesus called them
unto him
, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
