Luke 16:11-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 16
11Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true wealth to you? 12And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? 13No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.'
14Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and were ridiculing Him.
15And He said to them, 'You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of people, but God knows your hearts; because that which is highly esteemed among people is detestable in the sight of God.

Chapter 16
11If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? 13No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 14And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.Christian Standard Bible

You cannot serve both God and money."New Living Translation
