Luke 10:6-11
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 10
6And if a man of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him; but if not, it will return to you. 7Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they provide; for the laborer is deserving of his wages. Do not move from house to house. 8Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is served to you; 9and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11‘Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’King James Version
Chapter 10
6And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. 7And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. 8And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. 10But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, 11Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 10
6If a person of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you. 7Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they offer, for the worker is worthy of his wages. Don't move from house to house. 8When you enter any town, and they welcome you, eat the things set before you. 9Heal the sick who are there, and tell them, 'The kingdom of God has come near you.' 10When you enter any town, and they don't welcome you, go out into its streets and say, 11We are wiping off even the dust of your town that clings to our feet as a witness against you. Know this for certain: The kingdom of God has come near.'New Living Translation
Chapter 10
6If those who live there are peaceful, the blessing will stand; if they are not, the blessing will return to you. 7Don’t move around from home to home. Stay in one place, eating and drinking what they provide. Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality, because those who work deserve their pay.
8If you enter a town and it welcomes you, eat whatever is set before you.
9Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’
10But if a town refuses to welcome you, go out into its streets and say,
11‘We wipe even the dust of your town from our feet to show that we have abandoned you to your fate. And know this — the Kingdom of God is near!’
