John 17:12-15

13But now I am coming to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves.
14I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
15I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.

12While I was with them, I was protecting them by your name that you have given me. I guarded them and not one of them is lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture may be fulfilled. 13Now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy completed in them. 14I have given them your word. The world hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15I am not praying that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.New Living Translation
13Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy.
14I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.
