John 13:9-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
9Simon Peter *said to Him, 'Lord, then wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!' 10Jesus *said to him, 'He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet; otherwise he is completely clean. And you are clean—but not all of you.' 11For He knew the one who was betraying Him; it was for this reason that He said, 'Not all of you are clean.'
12Then, when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, 'Do you know what I have done for you?
13You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
14So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
King James Version
Chapter 13
9Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 12So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.Christian Standard Bible
10"One who has bathed," Jesus told him, "doesn't need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you."
11For he knew who would betray him. This is why he said, "Not all of you are clean."
12When Jesus had washed their feet and put on his outer clothing, he reclined again and said to them, "Do you know what I have done for you?
13You call me Teacher and Lord--and you are speaking rightly, since that is what I am.
14So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

Chapter 13
9Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.” 11For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
12When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you?
13You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
14If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
New International Version
10Jesus answered, 'Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.'
11For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. 'Do you understand what I have done for you?' he asked them.
13You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am.
14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.
