Chapter 7

21(for they indeed became priests without an oath, but He with an oath through the One who said to Him, 'THE Lord HAS SWORN AND WILL NOT CHANGE HIS MIND, ‘YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER’?');
22by the same extent Jesus also has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

21For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

Chapter 7

21but he became a priest with an oath made by the one who said to him: The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, "You are a priest forever."
22Because of this oath, Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant.

21but there was an oath regarding Jesus. For God said to him, 'The Lord has taken an oath and will not break his vow: ‘You are a priest forever.’'
22Because of this oath, Jesus is the one who guarantees this better covenant with God.
