Chapter 7

17For it is attested of Him, 'YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.'
18For, on the one hand, there is the nullification of a former commandment because of its weakness and uselessness 19(for the Law made nothing perfect); on the other hand, there is the introduction of a better hope, through which we come near to God.

17For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Chapter 7

17For it has been testified: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
18So the previous command is annulled because it was weak and unprofitable 19(for the law perfected nothing), but a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.
