AND HE PUNISHES EVERY SON WHOM HE ACCEPTS.'

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom

father does not discipline?

Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?

As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father?
