Joseph then hurried
out,
for he was deeply stirred over his brother, and he looked
for a place
to weep; so he entered his chamber and wept there.

Joseph hurried out because he was overcome with emotion for his brother, and he was about to weep. He went into an inner room and wept there.

Then he washed his face and came out. Regaining his composure, he said, "Serve the meal."

Then Joseph hurried from the room because he was overcome with emotion for his brother. He went into his private room, where he broke down and wept.

After washing his face, he came back out, keeping himself under control. Then he ordered, 'Bring out the food!'

Then Joseph hurried out, for his compassion grew warm for his brother, and he sought a place to weep. And he entered his chamber and wept there.
