Exodus 16:7-8
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 16
7
and in the morning you will see the glory of the
Lord
, for He hears your grumblings against the
Lord
; and what are we, that you grumble against us?'
8
And Moses said, '
This will happen
when the
Lord
gives you meat to eat in the evening, and bread to the full in the morning; for the
Lord
hears your grumblings which you grumble against Him. And what are we? Your grumblings are not against us but against the
Lord
.'
King James Version
Chapter 16
7
And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the
Lord
; for that he heareth your murmurings against the
Lord
: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
8
And Moses said, This shall be, when the
Lord
shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the
Lord
heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the
Lord
.
Christian Standard Bible

will give you meat to eat this evening and all the bread you want in the morning, for he has heard the complaints that you are raising against him. Who are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the
Lord
."

In the morning you will see the glory of the

, because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?'
8
Then Moses added, 'The
Lord
will give you meat to eat in the evening and bread to satisfy you in the morning, for he has heard all your complaints against him. What have we done? Yes, your complaints are against the
Lord
, not against us.'
