Then Darius the king wrote to all the peoples, nations, and
populations of all
languages who were living in all the land: 'May your peace be great!
26
I issue a decree that in all the realm of my kingdom people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel;
For He is the living God and enduring forever,
And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed,
And His dominion
will be
forever.

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel:
For he is the living God,
and he endures forever;

and his dominion has no end.

'Peace and prosperity to you!

'I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel.
For he is the living God,
