Chapter 10
26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. 27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. 28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?Christian Standard Bible

Chapter 10
26But Peter pulled him up and said, 'Stand up! I’m a human being just like you!' 27So they talked together and went inside, where many others were assembled.
28Peter told them, 'You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean.
29So I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. Now tell me why you sent for me.'
