1 Kings 11:2
ESV from the nations concerning which the LORD had said to the people of Israel, “You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love.
NIV They were from nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, 'You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.' Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love.
NASB from the nations of which the Lord had said to the sons of Israel, 'You shall not associate with them, nor shall they associate with you; they will certainly turn your heart away to follow their gods.' Solomon clung to these in love.
