Romans 10:3-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 10
3For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
5For Moses writes of the righteousness that is based on the Law, that the person who performs them will live by them.
6But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: 'DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL GO UP INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),
7or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).'
King James Version
Chapter 10
3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 10
3Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God's righteousness. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, 5since Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them. 6But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart, "Who will go up to heaven? " that is, to bring Christ down 7or, "Who will go down into the abyss? " that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.New Living Translation
Chapter 10
3For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. 4For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
5For Moses writes that the law’s way of making a person right with God requires obedience to all of its commands.
6But faith’s way of getting right with God says, 'Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will go up to heaven?’ (to bring Christ down to earth).
7And don’t say, ‘Who will go down to the place of the dead?’ (to bring Christ back to life again).'

Chapter 10
3Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: 'The person who does these things will live by them.'
6But the righteousness that is by faith says: 'Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'' (that is, to bring Christ down)
7or 'Who will descend into the deep?'' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
