Chapter 11

31then whatever comes out the doors of my house to meet me when I return safely from the sons of Ammon, it shall be the Lord’S, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.' 32So Jephthah crossed over to the sons of Ammon to fight against them; and the Lord handed them over to him.

31Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord'S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. 32So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the Lord delivered them into his hands.

Chapter 11

31whoever comes out the doors of my house to greet me when I return safely from the Ammonites will belong to the Lord, and I will offer that person as a burnt offering."
32Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight against them, and the Lord handed them over to him.

31I will give to the Lord whatever comes out of my house to meet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.'
32So Jephthah led his army against the Ammonites, and the Lord gave him victory.
