Jeremiah 2:28-29
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 2
28
But where are your gods
Which you made for yourself?
Let them arise, if they can save you
In the time of your trouble!
For
as many as
the number of your cities
Are your gods, Judah.
29
'Why do you contend with Me?
You have all revolted against Me,' declares the
Lord
.
King James Version
Chapter 2
28
But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
29
Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the
Lord
.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 2
28
But where are your gods you made for yourself?
Let them rise up and save you
in your time of disaster if they can,
for your gods are as numerous as your cities, Judah.
29
Why do you bring a case against me?
All of you have rebelled against me. This is the
Lord
’s declaration.
New Living Translation
Chapter 2
28
But why not call on these gods you have made?
When trouble comes, let them save you if they can!
For you have as many gods
as there are towns in Judah.
29
Why do you accuse me of doing wrong?
You are the ones who have rebelled,'
says the
Lord
.
English Standard Version

You have all transgressed against me, declares the
Lord

You have all rebelled against me,"
declares the
Lord
