Chapter 9
17
And God said to Noah, 'This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.'
18
Now the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan.
19
These three
were
the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.
20
Then Noah began farming and planted a vineyard.

17
And God said unto Noah, This
is
the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that
is
upon the earth.
18
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham
is
the father of Canaan.

These
are
the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
20
And Noah began
to be
an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:

After the flood, Noah began to cultivate the ground, and he planted a vineyard.
