Chapter 7
2You shall take with you seven pairs of every clean animal, a male and his female; and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and his female; 3also of the birds of the sky, seven pairs, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth. 4For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; and I will wipe out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made.' 5So Noah acted in accordance with everything that the Lord had commanded him.King James Version
Chapter 7
2Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. 3Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
6And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

2You are to take with you seven pairs, a male and its female, of all the clean animals, and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and its female, 3and seven pairs, male and female, of the birds of the sky--in order to keep offspring alive throughout the earth. 4Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing I have made I will wipe off the face of the earth." 5And Noah did everything that the Lord commanded him.
6Noah was six hundred years old when the flood came and water covered the earth.
7So Noah, his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives entered the ark because of the floodwaters.
8From the animals that are clean, and from the animals that are not clean, and from the birds and every creature that crawls on the ground,

Chapter 7
2Take with you seven pairs — male and female — of each animal I have approved for eating and for sacrifice, and take one pair of each of the others. 3Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. There must be a male and a female in each pair to ensure that all life will survive on the earth after the flood. 4Seven days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth. And it will rain for forty days and forty nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.'
6Noah was 600 years old when the flood covered the earth.
7He went on board the boat to escape the flood — he and his wife and his sons and their wives.
8With them were all the various kinds of animals — those approved for eating and for sacrifice and those that were not — along with all the birds and the small animals that scurry along the ground.
