Then she got up and departed, and removed her veil and put on her widow’s garments.
20
When Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite, to receive the pledge from the woman’s hand, he did not find her.
21
He asked the people of her place, saying, 'Where is the temple prostitute who was by the road at Enaim?' But they said, 'There has been no temple prostitute here.'

And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.
20
And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not.
21
Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place.

She got up and left, then removed her veil and put her widow’s clothes back on.
20
When Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite in order to get back the items he had left with the woman, he could not find her.
21
He asked the men of the place, "Where is the cult prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim?" "There has been no cult prostitute here," they answered.

19
Afterward she went back home, took off her veil, and put on her widow’s clothing as usual.
20
Later Judah asked his friend Hirah the Adullamite to take the young goat to the woman and to pick up the things he had given her as his guarantee. But Hirah couldn’t find her.
21
So he asked the men who lived there, 'Where can I find the shrine prostitute who was sitting beside the road at the entrance to Enaim?' 'We’ve never had a shrine prostitute here,' they replied.

When Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite to take back the pledge from the woman 's hand, he did not find her.

And he asked the men of the place, "Where is the cult prostitute who was at Enaim at the roadside?" And they said, "No cult prostitute has been here."

After she left, she took off her veil and put on her widow’s clothes again.

Meanwhile Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite in order to get his pledge back from the woman, but he did not find her.
21
He asked the men who lived there, "Where is the shrine prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim?" "There hasn’t been any shrine prostitute here," they said.
