Chapter 18
8 He took curds and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he was standing by them under the tree as they ate.
9
Then they said to him, 'Where is your wife Sarah?' And he said, 'There, in the tent.'
10
He said, 'I will certainly return to you at this time next year; and behold, your wife Sarah will have a son.' And Sarah was listening at the tent door, which was behind him.
11
Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; Sarah was past childbearing.

8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

8 Then Abraham took curds and milk, as well as the calf that he had prepared, and set them before the men. He served them as they ate under the tree.

"Where is your wife Sarah? " they asked him."There, in the tent," he answered.

The Lord said, "I will certainly come back to you in about a year's time, and your wife Sarah will have a son! " Now Sarah was listening at the entrance of the tent behind him.

Abraham and Sarah were old and getting on in years. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

8 When the food was ready, Abraham took some yogurt and milk and the roasted meat, and he served it to the men. As they ate, Abraham waited on them in the shade of the trees.

'Where is Sarah, your wife?' the visitors asked. 'She's inside the tent,' Abraham replied.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah.
