Genesis 18:13-18

Chapter 18
13 But the LORD said to Abraham, 'Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I actually give birth to a child, when I am so old?’ 14 Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.' 15 Sarah denied it, however, saying, 'I did not laugh'; for she was afraid. And He said, 'No, but you did laugh.'

Then the men rose up from there, and looked down toward Sodom; and Abraham was walking with them to send them off.
17
The LORD said, 'Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
18
since Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?

13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
18
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Chapter 18
13 But the Lord asked Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Can I really have a baby when I'm old? ' 14 Is anything impossible for the Lord? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son."

Sarah denied it. "I did not laugh," she said, because she was afraid.But he replied, "No, you did laugh."

Chapter 18
13 Then the LORD said to Abraham, 'Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, 'Can an old woman like me have a baby?' 14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.'

Sarah was afraid, so she denied it, saying, 'I didn't laugh.' But the LORD said, 'No, you did laugh.'

Then the men got up from their meal and looked out toward Sodom. As they left, Abraham went with them to send them on their way.

13 The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.” 15 But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

Then the men set out from there, and they looked down toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to set them on their way.

The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, 'I did not laugh.' But he said, 'Yes, you did laugh.'

When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way.

Then the LORD said, 'Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?

Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.
