Exodus 10:15-21
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 10
15For they covered the surface of the whole land, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every plant of the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Therefore nothing green was left on tree or plant of the field throughout the land of Egypt. 16Then Pharaoh hurriedly called for Moses and Aaron, and he said, 'I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you. 17So now, please forgive my sin only this once, and plead with the Lord your God, that He would only remove this death from me.' 18Then he left Pharaoh and pleaded with the Lord. 19So the Lord shifted the wind to a very strong west wind, which picked up the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea; not one locust was left in all the territory of Egypt. 20But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go.King James Version
Chapter 10
15For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. 16Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. 17Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only. 18And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD. 19And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. 20But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.Christian Standard Bible
16Pharaoh urgently sent for Moses and Aaron and said, "I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you.
17Please forgive my sin once more and make an appeal to the Lord your God, so that he will just take this death away from me."
18Moses left Pharaoh's presence and appealed to the Lord.
19Then the Lord changed the wind to a strong west wind, and it carried off the locusts and blew them into the Red Sea. Not a single locust was left in all the territory of Egypt.
20But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the Israelites go.
