Daniel 3:4-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
4
Then the herald loudly proclaimed: 'To you the command is given, you peoples, nations, and
populations of all
languages,
5
that at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery, bagpipe, and all kinds of musical instruments, you are to fall down and worship the golden statue that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.
6
But whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be thrown into the middle of a furnace of blazing fire.'
7
Therefore as soon as all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery, bagpipe, and all kinds of musical instruments, all the peoples, nations, and
populations of all
languages fell down
and
worshiped the golden statue that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
King James Version
Chapter 3
4
Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
5
That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6
And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
7
Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
4
A herald loudly proclaimed, "People of every nation and language, you are commanded:
5
When you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, drum, and every kind of music, you are to fall facedown and worship the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.
6
But whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire."
7
Therefore, when all the people heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, and every kind of music, people of every nation and language fell down and worshiped the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
New Living Translation
Chapter 3
4
Then a herald shouted out, 'People of all races and nations and languages, listen to the king’s command!
5
When you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments, bow to the ground to worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s gold statue.
6
Anyone who refuses to obey will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.'
7
So at the sound of the musical instruments, all the people, whatever their race or nation or language, bowed to the ground and worshiped the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
English Standard Version

6
Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace."
7
Therefore, as soon as they heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp and all kinds of music, all the nations and peoples of every language fell down and worshiped the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
