Acts 20:24-38

25And now behold, I know that all of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will no longer see my face.
26Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all people.
27For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.
28Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
29I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;
30and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them.
31Therefore, be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.
32And now I entrust you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
33I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or clothes.
34You yourselves know that these hands served my own needs and the men who were with me.
35In everything I showed you that by working hard in this way you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’?'

24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 25And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. 34Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.Christian Standard Bible

27because I did not avoid declaring to you the whole plan of God.
28Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.
29I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30Men will rise up even from your own number and distort the truth to lure the disciples into following them.
31Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I never stopped warning each one of you with tears.
32"And now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.
33I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing.
34You yourselves know that I worked with my own hands to support myself and those who are with me.
35In every way I've shown you that it is necessary to help the weak by laboring like this and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, because he said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

25And now I know that none of you to whom I have preached the Kingdom will ever see me again.
26I declare today that I have been faithful. If anyone suffers eternal death, it’s not my fault,
27for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know.
28So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock — his church, purchased with his own blood — over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.
29I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock.
30Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following.
31Watch out! Remember the three years I was with you — my constant watch and care over you night and day, and my many tears for you.
33I have never coveted anyone’s silver or gold or fine clothes.
34You know that these hands of mine have worked to supply my own needs and even the needs of those who were with me.
35And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’'

24But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. 25And now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. 26Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all, 27for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. 28Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. 29I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. 32And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33I coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. 34You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me. 35In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
36And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
37And there was much weeping on the part of all; they embraced Paul and kissed him,
38being sorrowful most of all because of the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they accompanied him to the ship.
